How to configure the Conversios Extension #
Navigate to the admin panel by clicking on the extension’s Global Configuration.
You can access the admin panel from the sidebar after navigating to Stores > Configuration > Conversios > Google Analytics and Google Shopping Integration.
Select “Yes” to enable the extension, enter the public key and click on “Save Config” to enable the extension
Click ‘Sign in with Google’ in order to connect your Google Analytics, Google Ads and Google Merchant Center account.
You will see a pop-up window similar to the one below; be sure to sign in using a Google account that has admin access to Google Analytics and Google Ads accounts.
Click “continue” to obtain the GA Measurement ID and other information required to use the extension’s functionality.
Once you have enabled all the required permissions and signed in with your Google account, you will be able to see your Google Analytics Account and Measurement ID, as mentioned in the screenshot below.
Connect your Google Analytics account and select how you want to tag your website: You can click on Google Analytics 4 and tag your website for Google Analytics v4 (GA4)
Click on “Next” to save your Google Analytics id.
Connect Google Ads account: Configure the Google Ads ID for Ads conversion tracking and auto-link it with Google Analytics. This is an optional step.
You can select an existing Google Ads account from the dropdown, as shown in the below screenshot, or create a new Google Ads account by clicking on the button “Create a new Google Ads account.”
Click “Next” to save your Google Ads account ID, which will enable all the features related to your Google Ads account.
Connect your Google Merchant account: Configure the Google Merchant Center account for product synchronization. This is an optional step.
You can select your existing Google Merchant Center account from the drop-down or create a new merchant centre account.
Finally, click on “Confirm” in the pop-screen that follows
You have now connected all your Google accounts. You will be redirected to the extension settings page in Magento 2 admin.
Google Analytics and Google tag manager #
While signing in, the accounts you have selected in terms of Google Analytics will be displayed here.
By default, the app uses the Conversios GTM container (GTM-K7X94DG) to track the events. Our Conversion GTM (Google Tag Manager) has 70+ predefined enhanced ecommerce tags and triggers, which make it easy to track your analytics data without any hassle.
You can use your own GTM account just by adding your GTM account, and you can also import our conversios GTM container to your own GTM, which will allow you to easily track your analytics data hassle-free with pre-defined tags and triggers. Please follow the guidelines attached here.
Google Ads #
If you had integrated your Google Ads account at the time of configuration, the Google Ads Conversion tracking is enabled by default
Your Google Ads account and Google Merchant Center account, which you configured while signing in to the extension, will be there under that.
And you can select Google Ads conversion ID, which is available in your Google Ads account
Google Merchant Center #
Site verification: Verifying your site with the help of this Extension allows you to verify your website’s ownership or authenticity with external services or platforms.
Domain Claim: The Domain Claim feature allows you to associate a specific domain with the Magento extension, ensuring that it is licensed and authorized for use on that domain.
