Price Issues

What usually happens

  • Product has no price
  • Price mismatch between Shopify and Merchant Center

  • Ensure the product has a valid price in Shopify
  • Save the product and sync the feed again

Product Out of Stock

What usually happens

  • Inventory is zero
  • Product is unavailable

What to check

  • Update inventory in Shopify
  • Ensure product status is Active
  • Sync the feed again

Image Issues

What usually happens

  • Missing product image
  • Low-quality or broken images

What to check

  • Add at least one clear product image
  • Avoid blurry or placeholder images
  • Save and sync again

Product Title or Description Issues

What usually happens

  • Promotional words like “FREE”, “SALE”, “50% OFF”

What to check

  • Use clean, descriptive product titles
  • Remove promotional text
  • Keep descriptions factual

Product Page Not Accessible

  • Product page not published
  • Storefront password enabled

  • Open the product URL in a browser
  • Ensure the product is published
  • Disable storefront password if the store is live

Currency or Country Mismatch

  • Verify Shopify store currency

Restricted Products

Microsoft restricts certain product categories, such as:

  • Adult products
  • Weapons
  • Alcohol
  • Medical or health-related claims

Exclude restricted products when creating the feed.

Variant Issues

  • Variants missing price, image, or inventory

Each variant must have:

  • Price
  • Image
  • Inventory

Fix issues in Shopify and sync again.

Feed Not Updating

  • Shopify product changes not reflected in Merchant Center

What to do

  • Click Sync Now
  • Keep Auto Sync enabled

  1. Open Microsoft Merchant Center
  2. Go to Products → Diagnostics
