How SylvanSport Improved Lead Tracking and Mid-Funnel Conversions with Conversios

The Challenge
SylvanSport’s marketing team faced a complex challenge; their products had two distinct purchase cycles.
- High-ticket items (trailers) like GO and VAST require long sales cycles and multiple touchpoints before a buyer commits.
- Lower-ticket gear sells quickly online, generating plenty of purchase data for ad platforms.
Because trailer sales often happen partly offline after a deposit, Google and Meta Ads could not see the full customer journey. Using only “Purchase” as a conversion in GA4 did not give algorithms enough data to find high-quality leads or optimize ad spend effectively.

Integrate HubSpot with GA4 and Google Ads
- Built a two-way connection between HubSpot forms and GA4 via server-side tagging.
- Synced key lead events (Catalog Download, Meet an Owner, Financing Inquiry, Book a Demo).
- Mapped these events to Google Ads and Meta Ads for better optimization.
Implement Server-Side Event Tracking
- Ensured all mid-funnel lead actions fired reliably, even when browser tracking was blocked.
- Passed clean, consented user data to GA4 and Google Ads to strengthen remarketing and bidding.
The Results
Within a seasonally comparable period, SylvanSport saw measurable improvements:
