Set Up Microsoft (UET Tag) & Conversion Tracking – SST Pro Plugin
Microsoft Ads Pixel (also known as UET tag) helps you track eCommerce and lead events from your WooCommerce store, such as purchases, add-to-cart actions, checkout steps, and form submissions. This data can be used to optimize your Microsoft (Bing) Ads campaigns.
Step 1: Sign In with Microsoft and Connect Your Ads Account
- In your WordPress admin dashboard, go to
Conversios Pro→ Pixel & Analytics → Microsoft Ads Pixel (Bing) - Click Sign in with Microsoft and log in with your Microsoft account.
- Select the following from the dropdowns:
- Microsoft Ads Manager Account
- Microsoft Ads Account
- Microsoft Ads Pixel ID (UET tag)
- Click Change next to any field to switch accounts or tags if needed.
Don’t have a Microsoft Ads account?
Click Create Now to set one up directly from this screen.
Don’t have a UET tag?
Click Create Now next to the Pixel ID dropdown to generate a new UET tag.
Step 2: Enable Conversion Tracking Events
Once your Microsoft Ads account and UET tag are connected, enable the WooCommerce events you want to track:
- Purchase (WooCommerce)
- Add to Cart (WooCommerce)
- Begin Checkout (WooCommerce)
- Form Lead Submit
Click Enable now next to each event to start tracking.
Step 3: Verify Your Conversion Tracking
To ensure your events are being tracked correctly:
- Visit your store and perform test actions like adding a product to cart or completing a purchase.
- In your Microsoft Ads account, go to Tools → UET Tag Helper or use the Microsoft Clarity integration.
- You can also check the Conversion goals section in your Microsoft Ads dashboard to confirm if data is being received.
Note: It may take some time for conversion data to appear in your reports.
