How to Set Up Facebook Pixel and Conversion API for Conversios Meta App
This section explains how to connect your Facebook Pixel and Conversion API (CAPI) using Conversios.
No theme edits or coding are required.
Step 1: Open Pixel Setup
- Open Shopify Admin → Apps
- Click Conversios Multi Facebook Pixel & CAPI
- Go to the Pixel Setup or Facebook Pixel section
Step 2: Connect Facebook Account
- Click Login with Facebook
- Sign in using the Facebook account linked to your Meta Business Manager
- Approve the requested permissions
This allows the app to access your Pixels and ad accounts securely.
Step 3: Add Facebook Pixel
- Select the Facebook Pixel you want to use
(or add a new Pixel if required) - Save the selection
The Pixel starts tracking supported events automatically.
Step 4: Enable Conversion API (CAPI)
- Enter your Meta Conversion API Access Token
- Save the configuration
Once enabled, events are sent:
- From the browser (Pixel)
- From the server (CAPI)
This improves conversion tracking accuracy.
Step 5: Add Additional Pixels (Optional)
If your plan supports multiple pixels:
- Click Add New Pixel
- Repeat the Pixel and CAPI setup steps
- Save the configuration
All connected Pixels receive the same event data.
Step 6: Verify Tracking
After setup:
- Open Meta Events Manager
- Use Test Events
- Perform test actions on your store:
- View a product
- Add to cart
- Complete a test order
You should see events appearing for both Pixel and CAPI.
