Prerequisites (SST Pro Plugin)
Before installing the plugin, make sure the following basic requirements are met. This helps ensure tracking works correctly from the start.
1. Website Type
The plugin works on both WordPress and WooCommerce sites, but available tracking depends on your setup.
- WordPress only
Page views and basic visit tracking - WordPress + WooCommerce
Page views, product views, add to cart, checkout, and purchase tracking
If WooCommerce is not installed, shopping-related tracking will not be available.
2. No Coding Required
No coding knowledge is required.
- Simply enter your tracking or pixel IDs
- The plugin automatically handles event tracking and server-side delivery
3. Server-Side GTM Configuration Required
Server-side tracking requires an active Google Tag Manager Server Container.
Before setup, make sure you have:
- GTM Web Container ID and GTM Server Container ID
- A Server Configuration String for the server container

These details are required to connect the plugin to your server-side GTM setup.
3. Avoid Plugin Conflicts
For accurate and reliable tracking:
- Do not install other tracking or pixel plugins Google for WooCommerce, Google Sit Kit, GTM4WP, Facebook for Woocommerce, Elastic Email along with the Native pixel plugins
- Do not manually add tracking scripts to your site
- Use Server Side Tracking Pro as the primary plugin for analytics and ad tracking
Running multiple tracking plugins can cause duplicate or inconsistent data.
4. Tracking IDs
Have the tracking IDs ready for the platforms you plan to use, such as:
- Meta (Facebook)
- TikTok
- Snapchat

5. Basic Technical Checks
- Use the latest version of WordPress
- Clear your site cache after installing and configuring the plugin
