Common Feed Issues and Rejection Reasons

Product feeds may show errors or product rejections if required data is missing, mapping is incorrect, the feed is not synced, or platform guidelines/rules are not met.

Common Issues Across All Channels

These issues can affect feeds for Google, Microsoft, Meta, and TikTok.

Missing Required Attributes

Products may be rejected if required fields are missing or empty.Common required attributes:

  • Product ID
  • Title
  • Description
  • Price
  • Availability
  • Product URL
  • Main Image

How to Fix

  • Open Attribute Mapping
  • Ensure all required attributes are mapped
  • Confirm values exist for all products and variations
  • Re-sync the feed

Missing or Invalid Product Images

Products without valid images may be rejected.Common causes:

  • No featured image set
  • Broken or restricted image URLs
  • Images with excessive text or overlays

  • Add a valid featured image in WooCommerce
  • Use publicly accessible image URLs
  • Update images and resync the feed

Price or Availability Mismatch

Products may be disapproved if feed data does not match the product page.Common causes:

  • Cached prices
  • Sale price not reflected in feed
  • Stock status mismatch

  • Verify price and stock status in WooCommerce
  • Clear cache if applicable
  • Re-sync the feed

Product URL or Landing Page Issues

Products may be rejected if the landing page is inaccessible or inconsistent.Common issues:

  • Price or availability mismatch

  • Ensure product pages are live and publicly accessible
  • Use HTTPS URLs
  • Match landing page data with feed data

Incorrect or Missing Category Mapping

Products may be rejected if categories are not mapped correctly.

How to Fix

  • Open Category Mapping
  • Map WooCommerce categories to the correct channel categories
  • Save and resync the feed

Duplicate or Non-Unique Product IDs

Each product and variation must have a unique ID.

How to Fix

  • Ensure variations use unique IDs
  • Avoid changing product IDs after syncing
  • Re-sync the feed after corrections

Products Filtered Out

Products may be excluded due to applied filters.

Feed Not Synced or in Draft Status

  • Ensure required policy pages are available

GTIN, MPN, or Brand Issues

  • Add GTIN and Brand in Attribute Mapping
  • If GTIN is unavailable, provide MPN and Brand

Website Not Verified or Claimed

Products may not be approved if the site is not verified.

  • Claim the domain in Merchant Center
  • Re-sync products after approval

Microsoft Merchant Center Issues

Store or UET Verification Pending

Products may not sync if setup is incomplete.

Note: 

If your website is already verified and your domain is claimed in Google, you can simply enter the required details from our plugin into Microsoft Merchant Center and complete the verification.

If your store is not verified with Google, you must first verify your website directly in Microsoft Merchant Center. Once the verification is complete, you’ll be able to use the product feed synchronization functionality.

Product Sync Delay

Products may take time to appear.

How to Fix

  • Allow up to 24–48 hours after syncing
  • Check Merchant Center diagnostics

Meta (Facebook) Catalog Issues

Missing Required Fields

Required attributes include:

  • ID
  • Title
  • Description
  • Price
  • Image

  • Verify attribute mapping
  • Ensure values exist for all products and variations
  • Re-sync the feed

Product Policy Restrictions

Some products may be restricted by Meta policies.

TikTok Catalog Issues

Products may not appear until review is completed.

  • Wait for catalog review
  • Monitor status in TikTok Business Center

Missing Image or Price

Products may be rejected if image or price is missing.

How to Fix

  • Ensure images and prices are set in WooCommerce
  • Re-sync the feed
