Set Up Google Tag Manager (AIO Pixel Pro Plugin)
Google Tag Manager allows you to manage tracking tags without adding individual pixels manually.
Configure Google Tag Manager
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard.
- Go to Conversios → Pixel & Analytics → Google Tag Manager.
- Select how you want to connect GTM:
- Default Container: Uses the pre-configured Conversios GTM container. No additional setup is required.
- Use Your Own Container: Sign in with your Google account and select your GTM container.
- To add GTM manually, switch to Manual Mode and paste your GTM Container ID.
- Consent Mode v2 is disabled by default.
- You can turn this setting on if your store uses a consent management platform.
- Keep it enabled if you are using a CMP such as GDPR Cookie Compliance, CookieYes, Realtime Cookie Banner or CookieBot.
- Click Save to apply the settings.
What Happens Automatically
- GTM is enabled as soon as the plugin is installed
- GTM Snippet Code will be added to your <head> and <body> tags
- Conversios uses a ready-to-use tags, triggers and variables in GTM configuration
- No GTM Container ID is required
How to Make Sure It’s Working
- Open Google Tag Manager in Preview mode or use Google Tag Assistant.
- Visit your store and perform test actions.
- Confirm that events such as view_item, add_to_cart, and purchase are firing correctly.
Once events are visible, Google Tag Manager setup is complete.
